Ping test

What is ping?

Ping (latency) is the time it takes for the smallest possible packet of data to travel from your device to a server and back. It is measured in milliseconds (ms) - 1000 ms equals one second. The lower the number, the more responsive your connection feels.

Low ping matters most for online gaming, video calls and internet telephony. Anything below 50 ms is considered good for real-time use. We also measure jitter (how much your ping fluctuates) - high jitter can ruin a call even when the ping itself looks fine.
